April 2010

I woke up today to find a brand new toy on the kitchen floor!

It was an opened box, sitting next to the loud thing that they put the plates and glasses in, laid out perfectly for me to sit on. I walked over, smelled it to make sure it was okay, then pleasantly took what I thought to by mt new throne.  Then he came in from outside, scared me, and I jumped off my new toy.  I was very afraid by the quickly opened door, you understand.

He then picked it up, and carried it away.  I tried to yell at him, to stop him, but it was to no avail.  He walked to the back of the house, right in front of the back door, and then foolishly dropped it to the floor.  Ha!  I’ve been sitting on the box all day.  Napping, yelling out the back window, playing with my feather.  It was fantastic.

No treats yet, but they’ll be home soon.

Uggh.

I just woke up from a nap, so I decided to tell about my goings-on.

She was home yesterday (or was that two days ago?  I’m not sure, as I don’t do very well with time nor relativity), and he was home today.   At least when she’s home, she sits on the couch and I can nap comfortably.  However, he moves around a lot.  It’s a little disconcerting.

He did open the back door, so I decided to go an look for some birdies.  It’s been chilly for the last week or so, so there has been little activity among the birdies, and even less among the squirrels.  I hope they come out soon; I like to yell at them.

I tried yelling at him to give me some treats, but he didn’t listen.  I’ll try again a little later.  Hopefully I’ll have some more success then.  If that fails, I’ll yell at her for a while.  She’s easy to convince.

Well, with no birdies, squirrels, or treats, I’m bored.  Time for another nap.  I wish it wasn’t so bright in the middle of the day.

Hi there!

So they’re sitting there watching the vampire show again.  She doesn’t want to like it, but he definitely does.  I’ll admit, I don’t understand the current vampire phenomenon.  That simply be due to my inability to stay awake for longer than thirty minutes at a time, but I don’t think so.

My feeling is that humans want to have a life more “special” or “important” than others around them.  They think that an immortal (or exceptionally long) life and magical powers would provide that, and then they would be happy.  But happiness is easy to attain.  Just look out the window, see some birdies, and yell at them.  That’s something that makes me happy.  And treats; I like treats.  But these are topics for another day.

Back to vampires.  Life eternal, endless love, etc.  Mystical histories will not solve laziness.

Well, the show about the ocean and the jungle and the people with guns that say funny things is almost on.

Remember to pet a kitty if you get the chance.
